The Radstock Knitters have been recognised by the national magazine, Knit Now, for the work they have done for charity.
The group were entered by member, Jenny Prowse, as a thank you for the time and
effort put in to their knitted creations for local charities.
Jenny said: “It was a lovely surprise when I got the email from Knit Now to say the group had been selected as Charity Hero winners! This group and all that we do would not be possible without all the wonderful creations made by everyone in the group and from others in and around the area.”
As winners, the group were featured in this month’s edition of Knit Now, as well as being interviewed for next month’s magazine and will take part in a tour of the
Sirdar Wool Factory later in the year.
