If you have visited Radstock Museum recently, you will have seen the fascinating display of artefacts from our local coalfields, where many of the local men in our community once worked.

September 2018 will be the thirtieth year that these friends and colleagues have come together to share their memories and catch up on the year past, taking place on Monday, 3rd, with doors opening at 11.45 a.m. and Radstock Museum hosting the event once again.

With the support of the Radstock Co-operative Society and the Somerset Miners’ Welfare Trust, former employees of the Somerset coal mines will enjoy a light lunch, followed by a trip down memory lane, with a slide show by local historian, Dennis Chedgy.

Due to space limitations, unfortunately the invitation cannot be extended to friends or family of local miners. Those who would like to go, but who may need help to attend the Reunion, are asked to contact the Museum on: 01761 437722.
