This cup was presented to the club in 2018 by founder members Harold and Joan Turner and has since then been awarded each year to a person whom the committee thinks deserves recognition for their long service and dedication to the Art Club
Betty was one of the founder members of the club in the early 1990's and over the years has also actively contributed to the running of it, serving on the committee for a number of years and undertaking several roles and responsibilities as a valued committee member.
Betty still attends weekly sessions where she enjoys painting alongside the Club's friendly members at the bright and airy Chilcompton Sports Club on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am until 1pm.
The well attended AGM set out the proposed itinerary for 2023, which will include workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions, details of which will appear on the club website: www.chilcomptonartclub.uk and Facebook group, as the year unfolds.
New members are very welcome by prior arrangement.
