Happy new year to all our members and visitors! At our December meeting, in spite of the bitterly cold weather,we enjoyed a social evening with such a full programme, we ran out of time!
Along with regular features, Christmas music, quiz and floral workshop, members were hard pressed to identify a large selection of unusual tools and gadgets on show.
We are now looking forward to our 2023 programme with a variety of topics, including, growing and showing sweet peas, exotic plants in the garden and climate change gardening.
Our first meeting of the year is on Wednesday 18th January, when we will be welcoming back our local botanist Helena Crouch. Helena will be talking about the Flora of a Somerset Churchyard and will tailor her talk to appeal to gardeners. We meet at Ston Easton Village Hall, Green Street, Ston Easton BA3 4DA. The hall is open from 7pm ready for a 7.30 start. Refreshments and raffle and a warm welcome await members and visitors alike. Gillian Hipwood
