Mendip travelled down for an early start which they were not sure would happen with the frost. However, there was no ice in sight and were able to push back at 10 am.

The first half started well with some great passing, Anna Marie and Kate Penn linked well to feed the ball up the pitch. Sally Stanford was able to get on the end of some balls into the D to claim a hattrick and put Mendip 3–0 up at half-time.

In the second half Yeovil used their three subs to strengthen their defence, despite this, Mendip were able to claim two more goals with Becky Dunsmore catching a ball on the post and

converting, and Sarah Whittaker getting a nose bleed and finding herself in the D!

Player of the Match went to Erin Sage for her constant chasing of the ball and not giving up.
