A new season of the popular talks, Science in Radstock, organised by Radstock Museum volunteers, kicks off this month with a talk by Duncan Allsopp, Reader in Electronic Engineering at the University of Bath.
The talk will take place on Tuesday, 19th September at 7.30 p.m. at Radstock Working Men’s Club. All welcome.
The talk, which is entitled, ‘More than just a replacement for the light bulb: How light emitting diodes (LEDs) benefit society’, will focus on the growing number of applications of LED lighting and will review some of the recent and emerging technological innovations that underpin these.
All three of the autumn Science talks will take place at Radstock Working Men’s Club starting at 7.30 p.m.
