Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to close temporarily to cyclists, horse riders and vehicles, and suspend all parking to vehicles the length of roads listed.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to carry out highway maintenance works by Bath and North East Somerset Council, operative from 20th March 2023, for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

This is anticipated to be for three days at each location. Diversions will be clearly signed during each closure.

The locations affected are as follows:

Kilkenny Lane, Odd Down - from Old Fosse Rd to its junction with Priston Rd.

The Avenue, Keynsham - from its junction with Station Rd (cul de sac).

Westbourne Avenue/St Keyna Rd, Keynsham - from their junctions with Charlton Rd to West View Rd.

Weston Park East - from its junction with Weston Park to Cotswold Way.

North Stoke Lane, North Stoke - from its junction with A431 Bath Road and end of adopted carriageway.

The Street, Marksbury - from its junction with A39 and Winsbury View.

Southdown Road, Southdown - from its junction with Englishcombe Lane to its junction with Lymore Avenue.

Weekesley Lane, Timsbury - from its junction with Camerton Road to its junction with Radford Hill.

Bath Road, Timsbury - from its junction with Weekesley Lane to its junction with Brookside, Paulton.

Church Street, Radstock - from its junction with Kilmersdon Road to its junction with The Street, Radstock.

Carlingcott, Peasedown St John - from its junction with Withyditch Lane to its junction with Wick Lane.

Littleton Lane, Chew Magna - from its junction with Limeburn Hill, Watery Lane and Crabtree Lane.

Western Lane, East Harptree - from its junction with Harptree Hill to its junction with Smitham Hill.
