Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A37 at Clutton involving two cars.

The collision, which involved a silver Renault Clio and a grey/silver Seat Ibiza, happened on the Upper Bristol Road, at the junction with Station Road, at about 5.30 a.m. on Monday, 22nd January.

A 22-year-old man, who was driving the Clio, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital. The Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved.

They are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who saw either of the two vehicles travelling on the A37 before the collision, to contact them.
