Autumn sunshine brought families out to Radstock Museum’s Annual Fossil Hunt on Monday this week.
The hunt has taken place every year for around twenty years and this year saw around one hundred children, plus their parents, on the local Writhlington coal batch – all wearing goggles and hammering to split open rocks to reveal lots of fossils of plants, including ferns.
