The Town Council is delighted with recent improvements at Haydon Allotments, which include a compostable toilet and new raised beds, which have been funded by Section 106 money.

Seven raised beds will each be split into two to create fourteen plots for residents of Radstock.

Cllr Gary Dando (Radstock) said: “We are pleased to have created these superb raised beds, which have been designed to give access and enjoyment to all.

"The Town Council hope that they will provide a great place for residents and community groups to come together, share information, learn new skills and grow their own fresh produce.

“Gardening is also well-known for a providing an array of therapeutic and wellbeing benefits.”
