Local radio station, Somer Valley FM, based in Midsomer Norton, are continuing to support Bath College’s Prince’s Trust with their newly-formed, green-fingered Team 3.

The team, based on the Somer Valley campus and Twerton Park, home of Bath City, will be planning and planting around the station’s grounds.

Ben Perry, Prince’s Trust Team Leader, is delighted with his new team. He said: “All have started really positively and are meeting each challenge head on, showing great determination and a willingness to learn new skills.

“The dynamic of the team is great, with each young person contributing to all activities. As always, we start with a residential activity event, which will be at Skerne Lodge, Biddeford. It’s a wonderful opportunity to develop life skills and bond as a team.”

The Prince’s Trust Team 3 is Connor, Max, Nat, Arthur, Emma, Ashleigh, Annmarie and Ben.

Richard Burgess, Station Manager, commented: “I love our relationship with Bath College. Apart from how well led the Prince’s Trust Teams are, it’s a joy to see the team members develop and bloom over the program’s duration.”
