Somer Valley Ramblers are ideally positioned to walk in the beautiful Mendips, Cotswolds and Wiltshire Downs.

The group believe walking is a great way to get outside, make new friends and boost your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.

New for 2020, Somer Valley Ramblers is launching Young Ramblers, aimed at walkers between 18-40 years old. ‘New’ walkers are very welcome to join us on this or any future walks.

Its first walk will be held on Sunday, 12th January 2020. Meeting at 9.30 a.m. at South Road Car Park, Midsomer Norton, BA3 2EZ, where we will car share to the start point for 10 a.m. at Priddy Green, Priddy BA3 5BB. The walk will cover eight miles of the Mendip Hills AONB. Afterwards, we will retire to a local hostelry for liquid refreshments.
