New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Blue Fish Co (The), at 120a High Street, Worle, Weston-Super-Mare North Somer was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 27.

And Backwell Indian Takeaway, at Unit 2b Gateway House, 2 Rodney Road, Backwell, Bristol North Somerset was given a score of three on November 27.

It means that of North Somerset's 140 takeaways with ratings, 78 (56%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
