The annual Christmas raffle for Paulton couple, Laney and Mark’s Homeless Project, took place last week at the Centurion Hotel.
?A record-breaking amount of almost £4,000 was raised for the homeless charity, with 223 prizes to be won. These prizes ranged from a holiday in Florida to a Hot Air balloon ride and many, many more. The prizes were all donated for the raffle, which were won by some very lucky winners.
The money raised will ensure not only that the homeless have Christmas gifts this year, but will be looked after throughout the rest of the year.
Laney said they will be taking 34 Christmas gifts into Bath, which will certainly bring good cheer to those on the street.
