This is a first junior selection for the 15-year-old who trains at Evolution Trampoline and DMT club based in Frome and Bath.

David will travel as the only junior male to qualify, an amazing feat for anyone, let alone someone his age.

David told The Journal: “I’ve been training hard all year, working towards the selection for this event and was over the moon when I found out I had been picked.

“The hard work still continues to ensure my passes are ready for the competition.”

Coaches Sarah Hunt and Miikee Selmes, said: "David has worked incredibly hard over the last few years, keeping fit during lockdowns and working hard towards his goal.

“We are beyond proud of him and know he will go out and do himself proud."
