The well-known, Radstock-based Old Bakery Artists will be holding their much anticipated Art Trail over the weekend of Saturday, 18th and Sunday, 19th May, opening from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Although one of the smaller Art Trails, the delight of this event is that it is quite easy to manage to fit in all the venues over the weekend; it just depends on how much time you spend in each place. If you are apt to talk and lose track of time whilst speaking to talented, like-minded people, you may just get around to everyone.
Most of the group are local to Radstock, and will be showing from their homes and studios, and some will gather together in larger places. Six venues are hosting sixteen Artists in Radstock,
Midsomer Norton and Paulton. They include a wide selection of disciplines and styles, such as oil painting, watercolours, glass, textiles, photography and ceramics and employ a variety of styles. In some venues there will also be art demonstrations.
As ever, the group has an impressive calendar of events planned over the year; Wells Museum and the West Barn, Bradford-on-Avon in August, plus The Round Tower, Black Swan Arts, Frome, in October.
Art Trail Maps are available around the area, including Frome and Bath, or for more information, visit: www.oldbakeryartists.co.uk or the Facebook page named for the group.
