Paulton Parish Council has resolved, in principle, to take over the village library in future.

It has reportedly been working to produce a business plan for the running of the Library/Hub, should support be withdrawn from B&NES, from April 2018.

Jo Swift, Paulton Parish Council Clerk, told The Journal: “If the decision to withdraw support is confirmed, Paulton Parish Council will distribute a consultation document to all households in early December.

“This document will also give details of an exhibition of information and a public meeting, at which residents will be able to ask questions and get further information, prior to returning their consultation document.”
