espite the availability of team members being down due to Covid, Paulton managed to field teams for nearly all its commitments this week.

However, when the ladies played at Bloomfield in a friendly, they failed to come away with a win.

Thursday saw Prattens playing a mixed friendly, where they had interesting green, with much banter, Paulton came away with an overall win and would like to thank Prattens, for their warm welcome both before, and after the game.

The County League match on Saturday, against Keynsham A, saw the club a player down, and with Paulton missing some of the more experienced players, but all of Paulton’s members performed well, producing a spirited performance on all rinks, Paulton secured a win on one rink, and came away with just two of the twelve points available. This week the ladies play Frome Park, in the league, and Norwest, in the ‘Golden Oldies’ competition, and hopefully Castle Cary away in a mixed friendly.
