Need free advice in a relaxing atmosphere on managing your budget, employment, tax credit changes, benefits, debt, housing and even loneliness?
COAST is the Community Outreach Advisory and Support Team, who are based at the P.E.O.P.L.E shop, High Street, Midsomer Norton. They will be coming to the Hub Library, Paulton, every second Thursday, from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, starting on Thursday, 26th November.
Each session will be run by the Community Outreach Workers. Meghan, one of the Community Outreach team, said: “We are offering a community service for your needs, free, on a one-to-one personalised service.” Her colleague, Ollie, added: “No appointment is needed. Just drop in. We’re very approachable.”
John Bull and Liz Hardman (Ward Councillors, Paulton, Labour) both added: “We’re both pleased that the Hub meeting room in Paulton is available for people to get advice. This advice is free and can cover a wide range of issues affecting local people. It also means they don’t have to travel to receive this advice.”
