YEAR 2 pupils from Peasedown St John Primary School were taken to the Victoria Art Gallery to learn about history and other cultures.
Located in the centre of Bath, the Victoria Art Gallery opened in 1900 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of HM Queen Victoria.
It’s a Grade II* listed building and houses more than 1,500 objects of art including a collection of oil paintings from British artists dating from 1700 onwards. The gallery attracts almost 100,000 visitors per year.
School headteacher, Ruth Noall, said: “The children were all brilliant representatives for our school, showing curiosity and resilience.”
“Learning about the history of different cultures and counties is vital part of our curriculum here at Peasedown St John Primary School.”
