It has been so lovely to see so many members joining Alcan LM Pensioners Association again this year for their monthly meetings and trips after the enforced closure due to Covid.

Their last trip to Wimborne and Poole proved to be very popular. Thank you to Sue Yarlett for all her hard work which goes into organising these. The trip this month is on Wednesday August 24th when they will be going to Andover for a short stop and then onto The Hawk Conservancy to enjoy various displays. The cost will be £2 cheaper per person than the advertised price. They hope to see as many members as possible joining, and there are still places available.

At the monthly meeting on August 17th, they will be taking orders and payment for the lunch at the September meeting. This will be a 12.30pm start, with lunch at 12.45pm. Fish and chips will be £5.50 and sausage and chips £3.50.

They will also be collecting the balance on August 17th for the Paignton Turkey and Tinsel Holiday. They look forward to seeing you on 17th August.
