A developer looking to build up to nine new homes at Smallcombe Road, Clandown seeking ‘permission in principle’, may have to look elsewhere.

Radstock Town Councillor Adrian Dodgson argued that other alternative brownfield sites ought to be looked at in that area. Cllr Gary Dando said permission in principle was not enough and that a full proposal should be seen before commenting.
