Children living in Peasedown St John are being treated to an action-packed afternoon of fun and games on Tuesday, 25th July, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., at Beacon Field, thanks to funding secured by Cllr Sarah Bevan.

Cllr Bevan has allocated £1,200 from her Ward Councillors’ Initiative Fund to cover the costs of two play days this year. The first was held in the Easter holidays.

Cllr Bevan (Independent, Peasedown St John) said: ‘I’m so pleased to use my final Ward Councillors’ Initiative allowance to fund a second, four-hour play extravaganza in Peasedown St John.

“Bath Area Play Project always puts on a tremendously well organised and enjoyable play event – I hope the weather is kind to all participants!”
