The Annual General Meeting of Radstock in Bloom will be held on 20th February at 7.30 p.m. in Radstock Methodist Church Hall (entrance by the charity shop in The Street) when there will be a presentation of plans for the 2013 entry.
There will be projects in Clandown, Haydon and Writhlington, as well as tree planting in Southfield, Haydon and Woodborough Road in March. If you signed up to help at the In Bloom stall at the Christmas Fayre, please take this as an invitation to come along and find out more. Indeed, anyone who can spare time to help with litter-picking, planting, weeding, fund-raising, design or publicity is very welcome. It is 'all hands on deck' time June-July, but as the picture shows, there is work to be done all year round and the Chair, Gary Dando, leads by example.
Much work is done in partnership with B&NES, Radstock Town Council, RADCO and Radstock Museum working together, but with severe budget cuts this year, Radstock in Bloom is once again appealing for sponsorship and individual donations.
