It has been a long time since we all last met up. March 14th 2020 was our last meeting and no one could have known what was to come.
We have kept going with our knitting, making the knitted and crochet flower rainbow banner and more bees and flowers for the Radstock in Bloom display. I know many have also kept up with making the blankets for Project Linus. The giant poppy wreath even went up on the wheel. This will hopefully happen again this year, too. We have chatted on Zoom and during the summer we met around the Miners’ Wheel a couple of times.
Sadly, with the closure of Radstock Methodist Church from January, we are looking for a new home again.
St Nicholas Church has kindly said we can meet in the meeting room on Saturday, 9th October from 10 am to 12 noon, like we used to. Sadly, no refreshments will be on offer as the cafe is not open on Saturdays, so please bring your own. It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible.
It is also our tenth year this month.
Thank you for sticking together and here’s to many more years and
projects to come.
