Radstock Museum’s volunteers are pleased to announce that they will be opening the museum and shop on Saturdays, 5th 12th and 19th December from 11 am – 5 pm.
The museum is following Government Covid safety guidelines with a one-way system, social distancing in family household groups only, hand sanitiser available on entry and track and trace in operation. Masks must be worn and only card payments are being taken.
The museum has gone to extra lengths to protect visitors with the premises treated with a special antimicrobial barrier to prevent surface contact transmission of viruses and bacteria.
The volunteer-run museum shop raises funds for the museum and has a wide range of local history, railway, coalmining and local walks books along with gifts, small stocking filler toys, children’s history books, prints, paintings and greetings cards.
The shop also sells a good selection of second-hand scarce and collectible books on local history and railways, including many rare Oakwood Press railway history books recently donated to the museum sold on a first come first served basis. Books can also be ordered and posted to you by emailing: [email protected] Go to: radstockmuseum.co.uk and click on ‘The Museum Shop’ to view some of the books and prints available.
