Bath and North East Somerset Council intends to make an order to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of Timsbury Road/Bloomfield Road, from a point 60m south of Hillside Farm to the junction with North Road.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works, from Monday 8th June for a maximum period of 18 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for 2 weeks.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hayeswood Road (B3115) - New Road Farmborough (A39) - Bath Road (A39) - Timsbury Road (C461) and vice versa
