Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 8am February 5 to 5pm March 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Bathampton to Beckington 24/7 multi way signals for drainage.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A4, from 9am March 11 to 4pm March 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 westbound, Box Rbt to London Road Rbt lane closure for horticulture.

A46, from 8am to 4pm on March 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Both Directions Cold Ashton Rbt to London Road Rbt verge works for horticulture.

A46, from 8pm March 18 to 6am March 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Both Directions M4, junction 18 to Cold Ashton multi-way signals for horticulture.

A4, from 8.30am March 25 to 3.30pm March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 Bathford Road Roundabout used as a diversion route for Wiltshire Council.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
