Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A4, from 10pm July 16 to 5am August 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 both directions London Road to Box roundabout - mobile lane closure for horticulture (cutting and planting).

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A46, from 8pm August 13 to 6am August 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 both directions Tormarton to Cold Ashton - multiway signals for horticulture (cutting and planting).

A46, from 8pm August 14 to 6am August 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 both directions Tormarton to Cold Ashton - multiway signals for horticulture (cutting and planting).

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
