Drivers in and around Mendip will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A36, from midday, January 19 to 9am January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Woolverton, traffic lights for emergency service repairs installed by Scottish and Southern Power.
And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A36, from 9.30am to 3pm on January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Woolverton, multiway traffic lights installed by BT.
• A36, from 9am to 3pm on January 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Woolverton to Beckington multi way signals for drainage.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
