Drivers in and around North Somerset will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 8pm December 2 to 6am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to junction 20 single lane running for improvement/Upgrade scheme.

M5, from 9pm September 29 to 6am December 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to junction 18 lane closures for bridge maintenance.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm December 18 to 6am December 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to junction 20 - lane closure for drainage works.

M5, from 8pm December 19 to 6am December 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closure, for improvement/Upgrade scheme, diversion via - M5 southbound to junction 22 and return.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
