Mendip road closures: one for motorists to avoid over the next fortnightBut the news isn't too bad, with both of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 10pm June 16 to 6am June 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to junction 18 lane closures for bridge maintenance.
• M5, from 8pm June 18 to 6am June 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 including slip roads, lane closure for signs maintenance.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
