Drivers in and around North Somerset will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 9pm July 14 to 6am July 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 entry slip road closure for inspections, diversion via, junction 19 and return.

M5, from 9pm July 23 to 4.30am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 exit slips lane closure for Horticultural works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
