Having read about the recently-established Community Food Network (CFN), the Mendip and District Round Table have stepped in to help put food on the tables of local people in need.

The local group have donated two weeks’ worth of 3-day Care Bags, plus a new bag of houshold essentials. With Easter approaching, Radstock Carpet & Bed Centre have added Easter Eggs, colouring books and colouring pencils to this week’s donation.

The Mendip & District Round Table is a local branch of an international organisation of men, aged 18–45, who give back to their communities and have the opportunity to make new friendships, gain new experiences and make a difference in their local community.
