If the Bath Half Marathon was not enough, local running man, John Reynold’s, has been at it again, this time on his birthday!

Jo Donoghue, John’s partner, told The Journal: “Against my better judgement, John decided at the last minute to run into Bath before doing the Half Marathon, leaving at 7.30am from Westfield, he started slow and steady.

“He was really amazed and touched by the recognition and support on the way in, horns beeping, waving, offers of drinks etc and donations for charity.

“He was met by Lara Latchem and her son Henry (Helping Henry charity who he decided to run for) at Bath Park and Ride before I joined John to run down into town (four miles in total!)

“John then proceeded to run the course with two members of Westfield TT, pacing them on their first half marathon. They all did a fantastic job, as did everyone who took part this year, it was a much harder course and very warm on Sunday.”

John chose to run to support local lad Henry Latchem, who has Cerebral Palsy, with his goal towards independence following life changing spinal surgery.
