The popular Science Fair, held at St Mary’s Primary School, Timsbury, returned last Saturday, 7th March. This free, community event gives children the chance to take part in hands-on science and inspire them for the future!

There were a wide range of stalls for visitors to explore which included Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Health.

A live chemistry demonstration took place, plus a real racing car, introduced by some of the team that built it. There was also the chance to meet and hear scientists talk in the PTA-run Science Café, where lunch was being served and some of the recent science work carried out by the schoolchil- dren on display.

The event was funded by a grant from British Science Week and supported by many local scientists, engineers, tech and healthcare people. A big thank you to everyone involved!
