Dog owners of Westfield and beyond will be excited to learn that they will soon have the opportunity to show off their prize pooches in Westfield’s very own answer to Crufts.

One of the many show ring events at this year’s Westfield Fun Day on Sunday, 4th June, Scruffs, will boast categories such as ‘Best Trick’, ‘Young Handler’, ‘Waggiest Tail’, ‘Dog that looks most like its owner’ and ‘Dog the judge would most like to take home’. In a culmination to an afternoon’s entertainment, the dog show will kick off at 3.30 p.m. and unlike its cousin event, Scruffs welcomes dogs and owners of all shapes, sizes, ages and breed!

Westfield’s Westhill and Norton Hill Recreation Grounds are popular spots for dog walkers in the area and the Parish Council are sure there are plenty of dog owners who will do the Parish proud in a display of Westfield’s canine talent!
