This is an exciting month for anyone who enjoys walking! The Ramblers’ Walk About Festival of Walks takes place from 3rd to 11th September. To celebrate this, Norton Radstock Group have two walks, plus two in conjunction with the Mendip Ramblers.
During this time, on Wednesday, 7th September, this walk will be specifically designed to attract local people who may like to try a walk. If the distance is too far, then there is an option of walking half of the walk and return to the start. This could be for you! Why not give it a try?
On 18th September, the Somer Valley Walking Festival takes place with a choice of four walks. 6.1 miles, 6.6 miles, 7.75 mile walk, or, for those who prefer a long walk, 12–13 miles.
Walkers MUST register at the Victoria Hall between 9.30 a.m. and 10 a.m. before walking. Do come along and enjoy walking, whichever length suits you! We hope to see you there.
