SWALLOW, a local charity supporting teenagers and adults with learning disabilities, held a Ball to celebrate its 25th Anniversary last Friday.

The Ball, held at the Swan Hotel in Wells, was attended by over 100 people, including SWALLOW members, friends, family, staff and Trustees. Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, followed by dancing.

The event was made possible with a grant from the Westfield and Radstock Big Local, and was the highlight of SWALLOW’s Anniversary year.

A spokesperson for SWALLOW said: “Our members don’t often get the chance to have such a special evening; many have been planning what to wear for weeks.

“It was a wonderful celebration of everything that the charity has achieved over the last 25 years.

“SWALLOW is one big family and this was one big family celebration.”
