The Somer Valley Singers rounded off 2016 with a number of seasonal concerts at various local Care Homes.
This year sees the ladies of the choir learning a new selection of songs for the 2017 programme, under the leadership of their Musical Director, Dave Simmonds. These include pieces by Gilbert and Sullivan, Jerome Kern and Richard Carpenter. Quite an eclectic mix!
One of our major outings this year will be as part of a varied musical bill at a charity concert in the Midsomer Norton Town Hall, on May 13th.
