There were queues outside the Methodist Church for the Cake and Jumble sale on Saturday, 8th October and the people who came in were not disappointed.
There were masses of goods to peruse and purchase at reasonable prices, as well as delicious cakes to buy or to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
Thanks to everyone who contributed goods or cakes, to all the helpers and, of course, to everyone who came.
We are delighted to announce that the sum of £632 was raised, which will be used to offset the extra energy costs that are inevitable at this time, so that our aim to provide a warm and welcoming space can be realised, not just for Sunday services but for all the other activities the Church provides for the Peasedown Community throughout the week.
