Turkey, tinsel and carols greeted over forty of Paulton’s Senior Citizens at their Christmas Lunch last week.

Delicious Christmas food was cooked and served by Tesco staff who volunteered their time, organised by Beckie Eschle, Tesco’s local Community Organiser.

As well as tasty Christmas food, children from Paulton Junior School sang old and new carols to the delight of the Senior Citizens. This was all organised by June Drake, Treasurer. She, along with June Maggs, Chairman, and Pat Jones, Secretary, are responsible for the Senior Citizens’ Lunch which is held on the second Wednesday of the month in the Scout and Guide Hall. All are welcome. B&NES Councillors, John Bull and Liz Hardman, who also attended, thanked June for once again organising an enjoyable event.
