After spending years in development, British chain pub giant, JD Wetherspoon, has finally opened its doors to the public at The Palladium Electric, a new public house that has been converted out of the remains of the old cinema, The Palladium, in Midsomer Norton High Street.
Cutting the ribbon, at the opening of The Palladium Electric, was Ken and Shirley Steel (former owners of the Palladium Cinema), the Mayor of Midsomer Norton, Paul Myers, The Chairman of B&NES Council, Karen Walker, and the Manageress of the new Wetherspoon, Rhi Buttrey.
The pub is open from 7 a.m. every morning, until 11 p.m. every night, and 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays.
