Local residents and visitors from far and wide enjoyed a variety of attractions in the fabulous weather.

The Orchard Brass Band entertained an audience sat around the amphitheatre before the Mayor, Lynda Robertson, awarded prizes for the best Easter Bonnet.

Earlier, children were delighted with Rocky’s Magic Show and the many prize Easter Eggs handed out.

Those attending also enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt, local market stalls, Easter arts and crafts, local food and drink providers, with the whole event compered by Dom Chambers on behalf of Somer Valley FM.

Midsomer Norton Town Council would also like to give a special thanks to Welton Baptist Church for decorating the discs, Midsomer Norton and Paulton Tesco for donating £20 towards the Easter eggs, and all volunteers for their help on the day.
