A LIVE performance of the album AWAKE will take place at The Tunnels in Frome on Wednesday, July 8, featuring music and visual elements from songwriter and musician Tony Moore, a former member of Iron Maiden.

For one night only, Frome will host a performance of progressive rock music, drawing comparisons to Genesis and Pink Floyd, providing audiences with an opportunity to experience Tony’s work in a grassroots venue.

Blending cinematic visuals, rich storytelling, and Tony’s signature musicianship, AWAKE is an electrifying journey through sound, emotion, and imagination. The show has captivated audiences across the UK and the world, praised for its innovative audio visual fusion that pushes the boundaries of the traditional gig experience.

Originally from Bristol, Tony left the region aged 17, when he went to London to join Iron Maiden before touring the world with Cutting Crew.

Now he is returning to the region which inspired his music in the early days, Tony said: “The West Country has always held a special place in my heart. Bringing AWAKE here feels like closing a meaningful circle—returning home with a show that represents everything I’ve learned, loved, and lived through in music.”

Hosted by Sonar Presents, the online platform supporting independent musicians before they break into the maintain, Tony’s Awake highlights that there is no age limitation to emerging artists.

Russell Phillips, Sonar Presents CEO said, “There is a misconception that emerging artists must only be teenagers but this isn’t the case. Tony has toured the world with some of the biggest bands in the world and yet, he is an independent artist in his own right making a name for himself on the scene aged 67”.
