Jo Whittock, Chair of Timsbury Theatre Group, has presented a cheque for £550 to Bath Junior Gateway Club. The club was the theatre group's nominated charity for 2014, money raised was collected during performances throughout 2014 and from donations by members of the group.

The Gateway Club, which is run mostly by volunteers, is reliant on their own fundraising, donations and gifts in kind, in order to continue to provide this vital youth club for disabled, disadvantaged and able-bodied young people from Bath and the surrounding area. The club meets weekly in Weston and it is hoped that the money raised will help to pay for a day out for the club.

Timsbury Theatre Group's nominated charity for 2015 is Ups and Downs Southwest, which is a parent-led support group which provides information and support to families of a child with Down's Syndrome and to those children, in order to help them reach their full potential.

Rehearsals are well underway for the spring production, 'The Village Fete', by Peter Tinniswood, which is being performed from April 16th – April 18th at Conygre Hall, Timsbury.
