Last week’s Mystery Photograph proved a bit harder than previous weeks. Lucy Tudor explains where it was: “It is taken in Shoscombe and shows White Hill which is in the centre of the village.
“The photo is taken from the area at the back of the Apple Tree Pub which is the building botton left in the photograph with the outbuildings attached. Behind that is the lane (White Hill) and the ranks of cottages which still stand today on the bank, the other side of the lane.” Lucy kindly sent a photograph of what the hill looks like now (see attached).
Last week’s photograph seemed as though it stumped a lot of you. Thank you to every one who sent in their guesses, but unfortunately no-one guessed correctly this week.
This week’s is a complete mystery, sent in by Somerset Coalfield Life, can you solve it? Do you know the people in it?
