Last Sunday we joined the congregation at Chew Stoke when Rev. Martin Slocombe led the worship.
He spoke of his sabbatical trip to Spain and also drew comparison of the Sabbath day now and years ago. The day was kept as a day of rest when there was no playing out side, gardening or even knitting! Refreshments were enjoyed in the hall after the service.
Saturday coffee from 10am will be met with homemade cakes, jams and chutneys, bacon butties.
Tuesday Knit and Natter from 2-4pm. Please join us for a cup of tea and cake. We are a friendly group who love a good chat.
Sunday morning worship at 10.30am will be led by Rev R Sims.
