Tabor Independent Methodist Church
Would you like a new hobby for the New Year? How about joining The Tabor Ringers? We are a friendly bunch of ladies (although men are very welcome too) who play the handbells and chimes.
Contrary to popular belief, we do not rush around a table picking up and putting down bells. We are very sedate (well, some of the time!), sitting in two rows, although the bells do stand to play. The ability to read music is not necessary, as it is all done by counting.
Rehearsals take place on Monday afternoons between 2 and 3 p.m. at Tabor Independent Methodist Church, North Road, Timsbury. Please ring our Secretary, Barb, on (01761) 752177 if you would like to come along. This is also the number to ring if you would like our group to entertain your care home, lunch club, or social group.
Tabor continues to hold fortnightly Services at which all are welcome; details are on the noticeboard outside of the Church.
