The death of University of Bath student, Alex Green, is no longer being treated as a criminal investigation.
Alex, 22, was found unconscious at a bus stop in Westmoreland Road, off Lower Bristol Road in Bath, in the early hours of Saturday, 30th September last year. He died at Southmead Hospital three days later from internal head injuries.
Lead officer DI Dom Graham said: “Following an exhaustive inquiry, we’ve reached the stage where we’re no longer treating Alex’s death as a criminal act.
“His family have been updated on this development. We’ll continue to carry out enquiries on behalf of the Coroner’s Office.
“I’d like to thank the public and the media for their help with our previous appeals and our sympathies remain very much with Alex’s family.”
